Hey there! I’m a Munich-based visual consultant with almost 15 years’ experience in the photo industry.
I‘ve worked for top magazine publishers like Condé Nast, photo agencies in Germany and New York City and creative marketing teams across the globe.
My first playground (aka internship) was at a small radio station in my hometown of Graz, Austria where I first fell for the magic of editorial storytelling. From that moment I was hooked and this passion drives my career ever since.

David Zilber
The FREUDE.FOREVER magazine is conceptually divided into chapters that match our senses. For the „Taste“ story, David Zilber, a Canadian chef that works with fermentation, was interviewed about the future of food. Visually, I wanted to get far away from any conventional „food photography“ and chose are more close-up, tactile approach where you can almost smell, touch and taste the (fermented) ingredients that we captured for the story. I commissioned Danish photographer Tobias Nicolai to shoot the portraits as well as the food. His candid, flashy and sensual aesthetic was perfect for our visual concept. David Zilber turned out to be the dream protagonist as he is naturally stylish (the clothes in the shoot were all his), very playful, photogenic and super polite (not the usual qualities of famous chefs, I heard).
Tobias was a great collaborator with his own strong vision and easy to work with. I love the reciprocity of the food and portrait images and the playful layout by Elisabeth Holzer.
