Hi! I’m a Munich-based visual consultant with almost 15 years’ experience in the photo industry.
I‘ve worked for magazine publishers, such as Condé Nast, photo agencies in Germany and New York City, as well as marketing and creative agencies.
My first playground (aka internship) was at a small radio station in my Austrian hometown of Graz where I discovered the power and magic of editorial storytelling. I loved every minute of it.

Nightlife
For this story we shot the cast of the movie “Nightlife” Elyas M’Barek, Palina Rojinski and Frederik Lau. Our visual concept was a spin on the once popular “photo love stories” in German teen magazines. We created and sketched out an entire storyboard for the spread. Our storyline was very basic: two guys fighting over one girl with an “unexpected twist” - with the cheese-factor being intentional. We wanted the photos to look playful, nightlife-y chic and sassy. It took place at a bowling alley which we partly had to close off. The light setting was pretty challenging as the place was only dimly lit and we needed permanent lighting for video material and the animated cover. It was a long production day and I love Palina’s cheeky middlefinger when she gets into the taxi at the end of the night, being “fed up with the boys”.
