Hi! I’m a Munich-based visual consultant with almost 15 years’ experience in the photo industry.
I‘ve worked for magazine publishers, such as Condé Nast, photo agencies in Germany and New York City, as well as marketing and creative agencies.
My first playground (aka internship) was at a small radio station in my Austrian hometown of Graz where I discovered the power and magic of editorial storytelling. I loved every minute of it.

Omar Sy
Our visual concept was to play with the iconography of Napoleon and other historic French leaders as he represents in many (not Napoleonic though) ways a new era of Frenchness. We played with symbolic props such as the armour, a pedestal to lean into (very heroic), a saber - the armour and saber dropped at some point for obvious reasons. The fantastic set designer, Alice Jacobs, created and live-painted the backdrops. The yellow sun on the red wall was a nod to KIng Louis XVI.
Kenny, the photographer, and Edem, the stylist, who also happen to be best friends, took our basic visual approach and really turned it into something artful, iconic and fun- alongside with the required (GQ) stylishness. I love the white Louis Vuitton coat that he wears on the cover.
