Hi! I’m a Munich-based visual consultant with almost 15 years’ experience in the photo industry.
I‘ve worked for magazine publishers, such as Condé Nast, photo agencies in Germany and New York City, as well as marketing and creative agencies.
My first playground (aka internship) was at a small radio station in my Austrian hometown of Graz where I discovered the power and magic of editorial storytelling. I loved every minute of it.

Zachary Quinto
This cover shoot took place in the middle of the 2020 Covid lockdown in Los Angeles and I had to produce it remotely from Munich which was a bit of a nightmare and only worked because the team on location worked together so wonderfully.
The photographer Eric Ray Davidson who is an experienced celebrity photographer (and PR executive favorite) was quite a good sport in taking over local production with his team.
Our initial concept was to spend a few days with Zachary in a cabin in the woods (stories on isolation and its glamification got us going back then) but this was of course scaled down (by his PR team) to 3 hours in a house that only remotely resembled the concept of living in and with nature. The location turned out to be partially a construction site and Zachary had to change somewhat unglamorously behind curtains next to the toilet.
The Condé Nast Covid production rules also limited the number of people on set to 10. Which is not a lot if you have ever been on a “normal” celebrity cover shoot. That means every person on set had at least two jobs to do. But the ride was mostly pretty smooth due to everyone’s professionalism and good attitude on set.
